Over $23 billion invested in Azeri economy since 1991

Ministry of Economic Development said over $23 billion was invested in Azerbaijan's economy since the country regained its independence in 1991.

The Ministry noted Azerbaijan is one of the leading countries in per capita foreign investments not only among the post-Soviet nations, but also among eastern European countries.

The Ministry said it expects about $10 billion would be invested in the country’s economy over the next four years. AzerTAg
