Azerbaijan Investment Company to finance first project

Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC will finance the first project by this year end, Company Executive Director Anar Akhundov told.

He says four or five projects will be financed on Phase 1.

"We are reviewing five non-oil projects at present. Preliminary economic assessment of the projects is underway. One of these projects envisages construction of an oil-chemical production plant," he said.

Mr. Akhundov said eight other companies are preparing their business plan, APA reports.
