Yagub Eyyubov: "Azerbaijan to talk with Iran if prices of Russian gas too high"

Azerbaijan is able to cover its demand for natural gas in 2007 without even Russian and Iranian gas supplies, First Deputy Premier Yagub Eyyubov stated.

He says Azerbaijan wants to get Russian gas at low price, APA reports.

"If not, Azerbaijan will alternatively negotiate with Iran on gas supplies," he says.
 
He also released information that the issue on gas imports from Russia (to Azerbaijan) is under discussion now.

"The issue still remains open," he underscored.
