Microsoft to unveil Azeri version of Windows Vista OS by mid-2007

Microsoft will unveil an Azeri language version of Microsoft Windows Vista OS by the summer of 2007, Islam Akhmedov, general director of Sinam Ltd., Microsoft's official partner in Azerbaijan, said at a Monday presentation.

"Microsoft is planning to launch an English-language version of Microsoft Windows Vista OS in early 2007. After that we will start translating the program into Azeri. We will need six months for this," he said.

Vladimir Chaikovsky, general director of Microsoft Azerbaijan, Microsoft's regional representative, said that the company has started the main phase of localizing Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. Interfax
