Economy grew by 34% during January-September

Gross domestic product – the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan- grew by 34% year on year, in the first nine months of 2006, to AZN 3.1bn, State Statistical Committee told.

Per capita GDP rose 32.6% to AZN 1 524.3 or $1 693.3, APA reports.

71.4% of the GDP was produced in industry production and 21.7% in service sector.
