Telephone numbers with 499 initial to be replaced with 596

Baku Telephone Unity has started reconstruction of telephone exchanges in Baku in order to replace telephone numbers with 499 initial with 596.

The Unity told APA that the numbers will completely be replaced in a few days. The aim for this change is to increase the capacity of the telephone exchanges in Baku.

Other numbers beginning with 4 will also be changed. The initial of 466 and 467 has already been replaced with 5.
