Azerbaijan, Belarus increase trade turnover

The sides exchanged views on current level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in all fields.

The Committee's Chairman said the trade turnover between two countries has increased 2,5 times in comparison with 2003. Bus there is opportunity for larger cooperation, he underlined. Chief of Customs Committee spoke of bilateral cooperation in the frame of CIS Customs Services Council.

Ambassador Nikolay Pastkevich noted all-round development in Azerbaijan. The diplomat also stressed necessity of development of the economic ties between two countries, increase of trade turnover and improvement of customs links.

In meeting, also exchanged were views a number of other issues of mutual interest.
