SOCAR sold 705 376 tonnes of oil to Petrofarm of Singapore during January-July

State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has sold 705 376 tonnes of oil to Petrofarm Company of Singapore.

SOCAR intends to sell 500 000 tonnes of oil to Petrofarm in 2006 (300 000 tonnes will be sold from Heydar Aliyev Refinery and 200 000 tonnes from Azerneftyag Refinery).

But it is not ruled out that more oil will be sold to Petrofarm during this period.

Last year SOCAR managed to export 379 700 tonnes of black oil through Petrofarm and a US-company Exxon Mobile, APA reports.
