Oil exportation through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline will decrease by 2.5% in 2006

4 mln tonnes of Azerbaijan oil will be exported through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline this year.

As APA reports, 2.6 mln tonnes of oil have already been exported through this route and 1.4mn tonnes will have been exported by this year end.

But it is not exactly known how the proportion of SOCAR and AIOC will be in the exportation through this route.

4 103 mln tonnes of oil were transported through this pipeline in 2005.

AIOC exported 2 704 mln tonnes and SOCAR 1 399 mln tonnes.
