IBA aggregate incomes rose by 45.8%

IBA (International Bank of Azerbaijan) aggregate incomes amounted to AZN 81 266 318 during the first half of the year, this figure is 45.79 rise on the same period last year.

As APA reports, during this period the Bank received AZN 52 121 806 of profits through accrued interest of which AZN 38 130 001 came from loans lent to enterprises and natural persons and AZN 8 596 626 from deposits left in other banks.

Moreover, fees for services provided and commissions constituted AZN 29 144 512 and furthermore, AZN 4 516 882 came from operations on plastic cards.

During this period aggregate expenditures equaled AZN 64 352 764.

The bank's expenditures and profit constituted AZN 15 464 029 (a 59% increase as against last year’s same period) and AZN 16 913 554 (a 68.4% rise) respectively on the payment of interests.

During the first half of the year the credit portfolio of the Bank amounted to AZN 746 160 815 and the assets equaled AZN 1 333 167 136. AZN 1 164 010 888 was attracted from natural and corporate persons (including banks) as well as deposits of AZN 224 955 761 were left in the bank by natural persons.

As of early 2002, the total volume of IBA assets was AZN 333.591mn, deposits by natural and corporate persons (including banks) were AZN 313.677mn, and annual payment of the interests was AZN 5 997 400.
