10 tons of oil stolen from Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline

10 tens of oil has been stolen from the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline section near Ceyhan district of Adana, Turkey.

As APA reports, unidentified persons stole about ten tons of oil from the pipeline through rubber pipes.

The security service conducted a special operation in the site as soon as it was informed about the stealing of oil and filling it into a tanker. They could not catch the thieves but detained the tanker filled with stolen crude oil. The operation for catching the thieves is on.
