Iran, Turkmenistan seek joining Caspian survey

Iran and Turkmenistan plan to join the environmental study on the Caspian Sea to be carried out late in 2006, the chairman of the Azeri Accountancy Chamber, Namig Nasrullayev, told journalists Tuesday.

According to AssA-Irada, Nasrullayev said relevant bodies of the other littoral states - Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan – have already agreed to cooperate in implementing the survey and no outstanding issues remain between the three countries in this regard.
