British Trade and Industry Department Bureau Chief visits Baku

Ms. Joan McNotton, the Chief Director of International Energy Security Bureau at British Trade and Industry Department, will visit Azerbaijan in order to attend international exhibition conference Caspian Oil & Gas 2006, to be held in Baku June, 6-9.

More than 20 British companies are expected to participate in Caspian Oil & Gas 2006.

APA reports that meetings of British official with Azerbaijani Government and ministries and state bodies’ representatives are expected. Topics will probably be about Caspian oil transportation to European markets, partial progress in Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum gas pipeline construction-work and exploitation of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline.
