Barmek to defend its arrested employees

The management of the Company does not believe that its employees committed crime. APA was informed about it by the employee of the Public Relations Departmet of Barmek Nasimi Pashayev: "In case our arrested employees are guilty, the management of Barmek will not defend them."

As to the information spread yesterday by the Azerenergy Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) on Barmek's repainting old transformers and installing as new ones in some substations, the Company's representative rejected correctness of this information.

Regarding inspections implemented in the Company Pashayev said that investigations are being conducted under the law at the present time.
