State budget of past year implemented with deficit amounting to 0.7% of GDP

As the Ministry of Finance reports, the state budget receipts were implemented in AZM10.028 trillion or 100.5% level and it exceeds the 2004 figure by 43.5%.

According to the information given to APA from the Ministry of Finance, the expenditures of the state budget increased by 42.5% to AZM10.705 trillion in the reporting period, that is the expenditures part of the budget was implemented in 97.2% level.

It should be noted that the amount of minimum monthly wage was increased to AZM150 thousand by the end of the past year and it is predicted that this amount will considerably increase from 2006. AZM660 billion were allocated from the state budget for this purpose in 2005 and AZM157 billion in 2006 and it will allow to improve financial provision of over 630 thousand people.

It was also added from the Ministry that AZM805 billion were used on public outlay expenditures in 2005 and it is 1.8 times more in comparison with 2004.

As a result, the factual deficit of the state budget amounted to 0.7% of GDP and it is 0.6% point less than the forecast. In general, the receipts of the past year's consolidated budget of the republic were implemented 27.8% more and expenditures in 97.6% level, that is the receipts and expenditures increased by 53.5% and 34.1% respectively in comparison with 2004.
