Azerbaijan, Egypt issue joint postage stamp

 The Ministries of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan and Egypt have issued joint postage stamps on the initiative of Azerbaijan`s embassy to Cairo.

According to the embassy, Egypt`s Minister of Communications and Information Technology Hany Mahmoud and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Abbasov agreed to issue the stamp marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations during their meeting in Baku.

The stamp features the Maiden tower, Icheri sheher, Egyptian pyramids, sphinx, rock inscriptions of Gobustan and hieroglyphs. The stamps will be officially circulated in the postal communication system in both countries.
