Passenger traffic in Azerbaijan exceeded 1bn

During the first nine months of the year, transportation in Azerbaijan amounted to 114m tones.
The statement came from transport minister Ziya Mammadov.

According to him, during the same period, all means of transport served 1,2bn passengers. Of the total load transport, 16.7m tones were carried out via rail, 9.3m tones via sea and 87.9m tones via road. The volume of investments in the transport sector for the period was USD 1.7bn.
