Kazakhstan seeks to deepen cooperation with Azerbaijan

Kazakhstan is interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Serik Primbetov told journalists in Baku.

"Kazakhstan is also interested in expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation with Azerbaijan and increasing trade between our two countries," he said.

Primbetov also noted that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have close geographical positions and interests on most important issues of a regional and international nature.

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan celebrated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations on August 27.

"A spectacular breakthrough in all areas of economic and political cooperation between the two countries is achieved through our joint efforts over the years," Primbetov said.

During the press conference, Primbetov handed over thank you letters to journalists who cooperated with the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan.
