Baku hosts conference of Eurasia Regional Committee of International Association of Deposit Insurers

The 5th conference and seminar of the Eurasia Regional Committee of International Association of Deposit Insurers has started today here.

The event, organized by the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund, (ADIF) brings together members of deposit insurance system of Europe and Asia. The subject of the conference is to evaluate the activity of deposit insurance systems in member states of the Eurasia Regional Committee.

Executive director of ADIF Azad Javadov said the main purpose is to study experience of other countries to improve legislation on insurance of deposits. Participants of the conference will make presentations on relevant legislations of their countries.
The seminar will end on August 28.
