Foreign investment in Azerbaijan’s economy ups

The foreign investment in Azerbaijan’s economy made $ 4.7 bln, in the first quarter of 2012, up 36.8% compared to a year ago.

State Statistical Committee says that 46.2% ($22 bln) of capital came as direct investment, 29.7% - as financial credits and 24.1% - as portfolio and other investments.
