Azerbaijan`s potentiality in viticulture and wine-making appraised

An article about Azerbaijani wine was presented in the pages of the French authoritative magazine known as «Sommeliers International». The article entitled “Azerbaijan-is not only land of Fire, but also land of Wine” says about Azerbaijan`s potentiality in viticulture and wine-making.

The article also narrates about Azerbaijan`s rich culture, cultural heritage, dynamical economical development and prosperous oil gas politics which make Azerbaijan the mightiest and richest country in the South Caucasus.

Wine-making in Azerbaijan dates back to ancient times. More than 200 sorts of grapes are being cultivated throughout Azerbaijan. “Today, Azerbaijan produces high-quality wines from Azerbaijani as well as French sorts of grapes”, the author writes.
