Azerbaijan gets own Unicode system

The State Student Admission Commission of Azerbaijan ( SSAC) has finished work on implementation of "unicode.az" web project.

Communication and Information Technologies Ministry of Azerbaijan reports that the project will be implemented within joint project of Azerbaijani government and UNO Development program (UNDP) within NICTS ( National Information Communication Strategy ).

The project implied creation of “AzeriSpellChecker” system on checking of spelling errors in writing Azeri words.

The system supports Unicode alphabet and meets Microsoft Office standards. The systems can be downloaded at www.unicode.az/downloads/mssp3az.zip link.
