Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will receive three aircrafts from the Boeing Aircraft Corporation in summer 2012. Under the relevant contract, the company should get a passenger plane Boeing 767-300ER and two cargo plains - Boeing 767, Trend reported.
The company received a passenger aircraft Boeing 767-300ER in last June. “The planes will arrive in Baku in summer. They should arrive almost simultaneously," the source said.
AZAL will receive the most modern aircraft - Boeing-787 Dreamliner in 2014, which will be the first in the CIS. Afterwards, the company will receive another similar aircraft. This will allow AZAL to launch flights to longer distances, particularly to North and South America, Southeast Asia and other regions of the world.
