BTC transports over 2mln tons of Azerbaijani oil

In December 2011, 2 million 166 thousand 178 tons of Azerbaijani oil were transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline. SOCAR reports that 32 million 224 thousand 700 tons of oil were transported through this pipeline during January-December 2011.

The transportation via BTC has made up 175 million 780 thousand 642 tons of Azerbaijani oil since the moment of its operation until January 1, 2012. Besides, 204 thousand 758 tons of Turkmen oil was transported via BTC during December. On the whole, 2 million 237 thousand 27 tons of Turkmen oil was transported via BTC in 2011.
