SOCAR, German agency sign document on nanotechnologies

Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) has signed a Memorandum of understanding on nanotechnologies with Economic Development Agency of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW.İNWEST GmbH) and Nano-technologies cluster of new materials (NanoMikro+Werkstoffe.NRW) of Germany.

The memorandum envisages establishment of scientific-research section of Nanotechnologies Science-Production Centre in North Rhine-Westphalia, financial, technical and legal justification of the joint projects, determination, research and transfer of area for production of nano-technological systems. The cooperation between the sides will be carried out on the basis of sale of nanotechnologies systems to the EU and other countries.
