All tourism companies of Azerbaijan are ready to organize tours during the First European Games in Baku, Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism told Trend April 28.
There will be a fee for the tours, according to the ministry.
Tourism companies will organized the tours, and the prices for these tours will also be set by them based on market prices.
The ministry added that it doesn’t interfere in price policy.
The guests of the First European Games will be offered ordinary tour packages and it is also planned to organize tours across Baku and various regions of the country (Guba-Khachmaz, Lankaran-Astara, Sheki-Zagatala and others), according to the ministry.
The cost of the tours depends of the rendered services and travel time. The cost of a one-day tour per person will vary between 20-50 Azerbaijani manats, the ministry said.
The prices for tours during the First European Games will differ from the current ones, the tourism campaigns told Trend.
Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.
There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
