First ever World Book Holiday held in Baku

Club "Natavan" of the Azerbaijani Writers Association held the World Book Holiday. Chairman of the association and people's writer Anar underscored that it was the first-time-ever holiday held in Azerbaijan. It was noted that the World Poetry Movement includes 104 international poetic festivals, 74 organizations and poets from 119 countries.

Similar events were held in 35 countries last year. The organizers of the World Book Holiday are Gabriel Impadlione, Alex Pausides and Tito Alvarado.

Secretary of the Writers Association, national poet Fikrat Goja, poets Ramiz Rovshan, Abbas Abdulla, Ajar Ol, Vahid Aziz and others presented their poems at the event.
