Month of Ramadan to begin in Azerbaijan on August 22

Month of Ramadan will begin in Azerbaijan on August 22, Caucasian Muslims Office official Haji Fuad Nurulla said.
Though calculations show the fasting will begin from this date, the Caucasus Muslims Office has not issued a fatwa about it yet.

“Qazi Council will meet within ten days and issue schedule of start and end of fasting, Laylat al-Qadr and the schedule of fasting coordinated with astrological center," he said.
