Repatriate from Azerbaijan detained in Israel

Bintov, his wife and daughter are accused of receiving Israeli citizenship through false documents on their being Jewish.

They are reported to have been granted about $10,000 by the government up to now. Bintov admitted his guilt.

But lawyer Rafael Rafaelov claims that Bintov is guiltless. He named Bintovs common Jewish family and said he will prove it through the court.

17 people were arrested in Israel in 2006 for presenting false documents on their being Jewish, APA reports.
