Maharram Aliyev: "Some newspapers are partial to me"

"Some newspapers published that I forbade newspaper selling in the streets. This information is groundless," Baku Main Police Department chief Maharram Aliyev stated.

He refuted that newspaper selling is forbidden in the streets and said no-one in his department ordered it, APA reports.

"One of daily duties of policemen is to prevent selling newspapers in the forbidden areas," he said. Aliyev said that some newspapers are partially to me.

"The newspapers spread the information that my relative killed a man. I declare again I do not have any relative in Sadarak district," he added.
