Armenia's reaction to the meeting of the Western Azerbaijan Community with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatovic, to the OSCE Human Dimension Conference held these days in Warsaw, and to the participation of the OSCE Commissioner on National Minorities in the Hague once again shows the ethnic hatred towards Azerbaijanis in the policy of this state. With this, Armenia has also demonstrated its intolerance for freedom of speech and civil society activities.

The statement also emphasizes that the Armenian government claims that the Community is making territorial claims against it in order to avoid dialogue.

The Western Azerbaijan Community reiterates that it has no claims to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia, and its only goal is to ensure the peaceful return of Azerbaijanis to their ancestral homes in Armenia.
