Azerbaijani national soccer team loses to Austria

Azerbaijan National lost to Austria National Footbal team 4- 1 on European Championship 2012 qualifiers at Dalga Arena on Oct. 7.

Austria ended their three-match losing streak against Berti Vogts’s side, who were reduced to ten men in the first half. The visitors took full advantage of Saša Yunisoğlu’s dismissal as Andreas Ivanschitz broke the deadlock before half-time on 35th minute.

In the 51st and 63rd minutes Marc Janko’s name was on the score table. Only goal from Azerbaijani side was scored in 76th minute by V. Nadirov. But this goal was not the last one in the game. In the 90th minute of the match Zlatko Junuzović scored the last one for Austria, 4-1.
