Turkish boxer starts with victory at world championship in Baku

Turkish boxer Caner Sayak (81 kg) got off to flying start at the 16th world championship here as he beat Thai rival Kringkai Sukkhumu 19-10.

“We feel at home here in Azerbaijan. We are one people two nations. I believe people will support us till the end like in Turkey. Our primary aim is to book a spot at London Olympics,” Sayak told journalists.
