Gymnast Aliya Garayeva competes in world championship finals in France - PHOTOS

Finals with Indian clubs and ribbons were held yesterday. Azerbaijani gymnast Aliya Garayeva was also competing. Our sportswoman ended fourth in the exercise with Indian clubs and fifth with ribbons. Eugenia Kanayeva (Russia), Darya Kondakova (Russia) and Sylvia Miteva (Bulgaria) won gold, silver and bronze.

The final in all round events where 24 gymnasts will fight for 15 Olympic licenses beside awards will be held in world championship today. Aliya Garayeva is to fight for the ticket to London as well.

Meanwhile, team contests have ended. Azerbaijani team took the fourth place after Russia, Belarus and Ukraine with a total score of 264.825 points.
