Azerbaijani rower captures Olympic berth

Azeri rower Alexander Alexandrov has secured the 8th Olympic spot for Azerbaijan, ranking third in the 1000m semifinal race at the World Championship in Slovenia.

It is the third Olympic berth for the Azerbaijan rowing team.
