AFFA signs contract worth $1.75 million

The Azerbaijani Association of Football Federations (AFFA) and Coca-ColaBottlers Ltd. have signed a sponsorship contract on Wednesday.

Within the five-year contract, AFFA and Coca-Cola will cooperate on two projects -- the Coca-Cola U-13 League and the Coca-Cola Students Cup, AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov said at the ceremony.

The company's support for youth football development in Azerbaijan makes us pleased, Mammadov said.

Within the contract, Coca-Cola Bottlers will transfer $1.75 million to AFFA to implement projects.

The company is satisfied with its participation in the development of Azerbaijani football, Coca-Cola General Manager Lisani Atasayan said at the event.
