Azerbaijani Federation of Air and Extreme Sports plans to hold a climbing training on Shahdag which is the second highest pick in the country.
Shahdag is a pick in the eastern part of the Greater Caucasus range having 4243m altitude. The training will be held from July 5 to 10 in difficulty category 1B, the federation reported.
1B category includes routes of rock, ice-snow nature with height ranging from 500 up to 5000m from the sea level with average length of 500 m, the average slope of - 10-25 degrees.
