Azerbaijan Women's Chess Championship to start soon

The draw of the Azerbaijan Women's Chess Championship has been held in the Republican Chess Center in Baku.
The competition will be attended by 12 chess players and the champion of the country will be determined after 11 rounds.

The encounters of the first round are as follows:



Narmin Kazimova - Sabina Guliyeva
Narmin Khalafova - Zeynab Mammadyarova
Khayala Isgandarova - Khayala Abdulla
Nargiz Umudova - Parvana Ismayilova
Gulnar Mammadova - Turkan Mammadyarova
Ulviya Fataliyeva - Turkan Hasanova

The chief arbiter of the championship is judge of international category Ulkar Umudova. Chess players who will win 1st and 2nd places will get a icket for private European Championship to be held from in the Turkish Gaziantep from March 1 to 19.
