Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has defeated Hungarian Peter Leko in the 7th round of an international tournament in Dortmund, Germany, increasing his points to 4.

The day's other results are as follows: German Arkadij Naiditsch 0.5-0.5 Vietnamese Le Quang Liem, Russian Vladimir Kramnik 0.5-0.5 Ukrainian Ruslan Ponomariov. After 7 rounds, Ponomariov leads the table with 4.5 points.
