Azerbaijani grandmaster claims his 2nd straight win at Salou tournament

Azerbaijan's Azer Mirzayev has strengthened his grip at the top of an international chess tournament in Salou, Spain, after claiming his second win in a row.

The third round will pit the Azeri grand master against Lars Carlson of Sweden. The tournament involves 69 players, including 21 grand masters.
