Azerbaijani judo fighter defeats his Armenian counterpart for the European Championship Cup

The European judo championship for youths has been completed in Antalya (Turkey).
According to Day.Az, on the final day of competition, Azerbaijani athletes won two medals - golden and silver. The highest award was received by Islam Abdurahmanzade (66 kg), who defeated his Armenian counterpart Artabzad Ovsepyan.

In the weight category up to 73 kg, 2-nd place was taken by Alasgar Rahimov.

On the first day of the tournament. Fagan Guluzade (50 kg) won gold, and Orudj Velizadeh (50 kg), Vusal Shabanly (55 kg) and Niyameddin Abbasov (60 kg) won bronze. Thus, Azerbaijani team has a total of 6 medals.
