Azerbaijan's FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev has officiated the match between the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands in the 6th round of Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League, Division A.
The match, held at the Bilino Polye stadium in Zenica, ended in a 1-1 draw. The 37-year-old head referee showed only one yellow card during the match, which he issued to the home team’s forward Ermedin Demirovic in the 76th minute.
In this match, Aghayev was assisted by linesmen Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali. The fourth official was Inqlab Mammadov, while the VAR officials were Tomas Kwiatowski and Pavel Pskit from Poland.
As a result of this match, the Netherlands national team secured second place in the group, advancing to the quarter-finals of the Nations League, while Bosnia and Herzegovina was relegated to League B.
