Azerbaijani chess player Kenan Izzet shows his best at Australian Open chess tournament.
Kenan Izzet gained victory over George Lester in the fourth round of tournament, azerisport.com reported. It's his third victory at the tournament.
Scoring 3 points, Izzat is only one point behind the group leaders.
The Australian Open is an 11-round Swiss open taking place from January 2 to 12 in the Anglican Church Grammar School, affectionately known as Churchie, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Players receive 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.
