Azerbaijan Handball Federation elects new president

Azerbaijan Handball Federation has held a meeting to elect new president.

Chairman of 'Azeravtoyol' OJSC Saleh Mammadov was elected the President of AHF through voting.

Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade and Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov attended the event.

Huseynzade said that handball, which had huge successes during the Soviet period, remained outside of the developments.

For this reason, the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the leadership of the National Olympic Committee decided to make some amendments.
