Grand Slam judo tournament Organizing Committee holds meeting

The Organizing Committee of the Grand Slam international judo tournament has today held its meeting in Baku.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, President of Azerbaijan Judo federation Rovnag Abdullayev, as well as members of the committee.

The committee heard reports on the preparations for the tournament.

Vice-President of Azerbaijan Judo Federation Sadig Sadigov said the tournament would bring together 552 fighters from 86 countries.

The Grand Slam tournament will be held in Baku on May 6-8.
