             An Azerbaijani wrestler, having defeated an Armenian athlete, has earned a license to the Rio 2016 Olympics, Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation told Trend Apr. 16.
European license tournament in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling continues in the Serbian town of Zrenjanin, according to the message. Each wrestler who reaches the finals receives a ticket to the Olympics.
The other two members of the Azerbaijani national team competed for the license on the second day of the competition.
Azerbaijani wrestler Jabrayil Hasanov, acting in the weight category up to 74 kilograms in freestyle wrestling, consistently defeated wrestlers from Moldova and Poland and met with Armenian rival Suren Khachatryan in the semifinals.
Having gained a victory over Khachatryan in 51 seconds, the Azerbaijani wrestler reached the finals and secured himself a license for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
