Azerbaijani gymnast Oleg Stepko grabs silver in vault event

Azerbaijani gymnast Oleg Stepko has captured the silver medal in vault event at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics in Baku.

He scored 14.650 points on two attempts.

Japanese gymnast Kenzo Shirai grabbed the gold medal with 14.975 points, while the Turkish gymnast Ahmet Onder won the bronze by scoring 14.400 points.

The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics kicked off in Baku Feb. 19 and is to end Feb. 21. As many as 45 male and 22 female gymnasts compete for medals in apparatus finals of the World Challenge Cup.
