Azerbaijani cyclists gained four medals at the Galichyna Grand Prix International Track Cycling competition held in Lvov, Ukraine, on August 6-9.
The competition was attended by about 200 strongest Ukrainian cyclists up to 23 years alongside leading cyclists from Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Slovakia, Azerbaijan and other European countries.
At the 500 metres race Sergey Omelchenko, showed the best result winning the gold medal. He also took two silver medals at the distance of 200 meters and keirin competition.
Another medal came from Yelena Pavlukhina. She overcame the distance of 10 km finishing the second.
