Ronaldo will retire at Real Madrid when he's 40, says Mendes

"Ronaldo is the best player in the world and the best we have ever seen," he declared. "You will never see a player like him again. He is getting better and better and will continue to do so until he turns 40.

"You cannot compare him with anyone. There will not be anyone like him in the next 500 years."

Ronaldo first won the Champions League with United in 2007-08 before lifting the trophy again with Madrid last term and he's desperate to win the prestigious competition a third time.

"It's his dream to win the Champions League again," Mendes explained. "He is always hungry for more and never ceases to amaze."

Ronaldo has a contract with Madrid until the summer of 2018.
