Azerbaijani cyclist wins Grand Prix in Ukraine

The Grand Prix Odessa cycling tour was held in Odessa, Ukraine.

More than 100 cyclists took part in the one-day competition in a 120km route. Alongside with other foreign countries, Azerbaijan took part in the competition.

The members of "Synergy Baku" national team Elchin Asadov and Alexandr Surutkovich achieved great results in the event.

Elchin, passing the finish line after 2:57:49 seconds became the winner of the competition, while Alexandr with just a slight odd of 20 seconds took the third place.

Soon, Grand Prix Odessa is expected to be included in the agenda of the International Cycling Union and will be classified as 1.2 category.
